Every year, for a limited time, we open the doors during our honey extraction season and invite you to experience raw honey the way it comes straight from the hive. No grocery store shelf. No miles of transportation. Just fresh, local honey from our hives to your pantry.

And the best part? You bring the jar. We fill it.

What Makes Raw Honey So Special?

Raw honey is honey in its most natural form—straight from the honeycomb during the extraction process.

At Adee Honey Farms, our beekeepers remove the honey-filled frames from the hives and bring them into our extraction facility. The honey is spun from the honeycomb, allowing the sweet, golden honey to separate from the comb. From there, it is gently handled and stored until it makes its way to you.

Because raw honey is not heavily filtered, you may notice natural pollen, tiny bits of beeswax, or a cloudier appearance. You may also notice that raw honey crystallizes more quickly. These are all natural characteristics of minimally processed honey.

It’s honey just as nature intended.

How Our Fill Your Own Jar Event Works

Ready to fill your pantry with fresh, raw honey? It’s easy!

1. BYOJ — Bring Your Own Jar

Bring any clean, dry jar or container you'd like to fill. Any size and quantity will work! We recommend a wide-mouth jar because it makes filling easier and a little less messy.

2. Weigh Your Empty Jar

When you arrive, we'll weigh your empty jar before filling it.

3. Fill It With Raw Honey

We'll fill your jar with fresh, raw honey straight from our extraction process.

4. Take Home Your Honey

Once your jar is filled, you're ready to head home with a little taste of honey harvest season!

When Can I Get Raw Honey?

Raw honey is available for a limited time each year during our honey extraction season.

The timing and length of extraction season varies from year to year, but raw honey is typically available beginning around August and continuing into the fall.

Because the extraction season is limited and varies each year, we recommend calling ahead before making a special trip to make sure we are still extracting.

** The season is expected to last from August 21st through the end of September. Dates may be extended to reduced depending on the honey crop. **
